Birthday Suite: Deepika Padukone

No leggy beauty has debuted on the Bollywood ramp as confidently as Deepika Padukone had in 'OSO'. A noted critic says "Deepika has all it takes to be a top star -- the personality, the looks and yes, she's supremely talented too. Standing in the same frame as SRK and getting it right is no small achievement. She comes as a whiff of fresh air!" In 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', the Padukone girl won the point with a smash hit. Her upcoming film, 'Chandni Chowk To China', opposite Akshay Kumar, features her in double role. By the looks of it, 'CC2C' is sure to set the B.O on fire. Here is a pictorial tribute to the Bangalore beauty, who turns 23 on January 5.

Deepika Padukone was born on January 5, 1986 in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Her parents, Ujjala and Prakash Padukone, moved to Bangalore when she was 11-months old.
