Australian swimmer Stephanie Rice captured the imagination of males around the world when photos of her unwinding in a tight-fitting version of a police uniform were splashed on Facebook earlier this year. Though Swimming Australia took exception to these photos, they propelled Rice to world fame. Rice though isn't all about looks alone as she showed in the Beijing Olympics Games where she won three gold medals. She's also the current world record holder in the 200 metres and 400 metres individual medley.

Nastia Liukin is a Russian-American artistic gymnast. She is the 2008 Olympic individual all-around gold medalist, the 2005 and 2007 World Champion on the balance beam, and the 2005 World Champion on the uneven bars. With nine World Championships medals, seven of them individual, Liukin is tied with Shannon Miller as the American gymnast having won the most World Championship medals. Outside of competitive gymnastics, Liukin has made several appearances in film and television. In June 2008, Liukin and her teammates Shawn Johnson and Alicia Sacramone became the first female athletes ever to be signed as CoverGirl spokesmodels.

Danica Patrick, who is the first woman to win an Indy car race, has turned heads with her looks as well. Patrick has also appeared on the cover of the June 6, 2005 issue of Sports Illustrated and the September/October 2006 issue of travelgirl magazine and the October 2006 issue of American Libraries.
