ISRO launches surveillance, education satellite

India's space agency on Monday successfully placed an Israeli built satellite all weather defencer surveillance satellite,radar imaging satellite or RISAT 2 and the micro education satellite ANUSAT successfully into orbit by a rocket that took off from the spaceport at Sriharikota on the southeast coast.The Indian Space Research Organisation or ISRO launched the 300 kilogram RISAT 2 by the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle or PSLV rocket at 6.45 in the morning.
